A federal jury steeped in hours of secret recordings and talk of dirty money has convicted Hillsborough County Commissioner Kevin White of seven public corruption charges. White faced 10 counts, including bribery, mail and wire fraud, conspiracy and lying to an FBI agent, dating from late 2009 to early this year.
Jurors took about an hour and 20 minutes Wednesday morning to find former Jabil Circuit executive Patrick A. Evans guilty of two counts of first degree murder. They will reconvene later to discuss whether he should be given the death penalty.
